I had the privilege of having an on-air discussion with Joel Rosenberg this past weekend.  Rosenberg has been sought out as a consultant to the White House, the CIA, Homeland Security, Capitol Hill, Israeli leadership, and more.  His books, all huge sellers, have gained him the notoriety; however, the interesting angle is that those seeking his advice acknowledge that his comments and book themes are always Bible-based.  That seems to bother no one.

His most recent book is "Epicenter: Why the Current Rumblings in the Middle East Will Change Your Future." And there are, indeed, rumblings!  There is a companion DVD.  Olive Tree Ministries will carry both in our print newsletter and Web site within the next two weeks.

Rosenberg like many is sounding the alarm that the mad man of Iran, Ahmadinejad, must be taken out quickly. He should be taken for his word.  Ahmadinejad's primary goal is to bring on the Islamic Messiah but to do that, Israel and America must be put out of business.  In 2005 he suggested that 2007 would be the big year for this.

Forty years ago today during Israel's incredible "Six-Day War," her enemies were chanting, "We will drive Israel into the sea!!"  They haven't changed their message, just the tune.  Today it is, "We will wipe Israel off the map!!" Even though things change, they really stay the same when it comes to the "everlasting hatred." When will Israel and the free world take the Muslim extremists at their word?

Additionally, Syria is making war rumblings as reported by a dozen reliable sources, including Christian journalist David Dolan.  Hezbollah is rearmed and ready to go.  Al-Qaida is entrenched in the Palestinian areas.  If the Palestinian civil war doesn't put a damper on all their Israel threats, they are gearing up and singing the same tune.  There's no love-fest in the Middle East and yes, it will change your future as Rosenberg's book explains.

Joel and I spent a lot of time on why 2007 is the pivotal year for President Bush. It is unwise for America to take on more major tasks in an election year--2008.  The ideal is to have the nation focus on the candidates and the election.  That means Bush is running out of time to take action in the Middle East.

Hear Joel's greater explanation here http://www.olivetreeviews.org/radio/mp3/  Our "radio archives" are simple to use. We even have an icon for dial-up users.  Just allow time for the programs to load and that speed varies. Be patient.  The programs will play as though they are on the radio and we even take out all commercials! I just heard from a young man in Germany who played every program on our "archives" going back to early 2005. Another pastor called to say he stayed up 24 hours to listen to as many as he could.

Rosenberg is one of our "Understanding the Times 2007" conference speakers. Learn more here http://www.olivetreeviews.org/conferences.shtml  We will have simplified directions to Grace Church, Eden Prairie (a SW suburb of Minneapolis) in a few days.  Many are calling from around the country with inquiries. A conference hotel has been selected and is posted on the Web site. There is a special rate if you ask for it.

Pray for President Bush!  If, in fact, he must make major decisions in the coming months, he needs the people of God standing with him.

RADIO THIS WEEKEND: A retired Special Agent-in-Charge with more than 26 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Justice and the former Immigration and Naturalization Service. Also, Annie Jacobsen, now vindicated after three years of being ridiculed for sounding the alarm on a NW flight from Detroit to L.A.  A "dry run" by Muslims was taking place on the flight. Hardly anyone believed her; additionally, the issue was covered up.
