As the son of a career Air Force OSI Special Agent, Chris Gaubatz grew up in England, Korea, California, and Utah, and today calls southwest Virginia home. Chris worked for several Fortune 500 companies conducting fraud investigations and asset protection, as well as insurance sales.
In 2007, Chris began researching the threat of jihadi organizations in the United States by posing as a Muslim convert and attending Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas conferences gaining access as an intern with the Hamas organization Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Virginia.
While working at the CAIR MD/VA office, Chris uncovered a fraud scheme being perpetrated by CAIR’s “immigration attorney” who was defrauding Muslims in the community and lying about handling their immigration proceedings. In fact, he was not even a licensed attorney.
When that office was shut down by CAIR in an effort to conceal this criminal activity, Chris was invited by Hamas/CAIR leaders to work at their headquarters office in Washington, D.C.
During his time there, Chris obtained over 12,000 pages of documents from Hamas/CAIR and over 300 hours of covert audio/video recordings. The entire story is featured in the book Muslim Mafia authored by investigative journalist Paul Sperry and Dave Gaubatz (Chris’ Father).

Is Self-Defense Biblical or are we to turn the other cheek? What about defending others? Our family?
When it comes to self-defense or defense of others there are a few things to consider ahead of time, that is NOW if you haven't already:
- What are the Scriptural implications, mandates, and guidances?
- What are the possible scenarios you must consider ahead of time? Like: at home guarding your family, at church, a public event or place and alone in that dark alley (the NRA reduces this to two options in their handgun training courses: Personal Defense Inside The Home and Personal Defense Outside The Home)
- What are the training resources you should consider?
- What are the laws regarding the use of deadly force in your city and state (preemption laws, castle laws, right to self defense or preservation, etc.)
- What are the firearms you should consider and why? Match your selection with your scenarios (most likely home invasion or burglary and worst case scenarios, handgun? Rifle? Shotgun? Short Barrel Rifle/Shotgun, what caliber? Silencers? Etc.)
- What are the differences between staging and storage of your firearms?
- What will happen if you take a life?
- What about Insurance and legal protection?
- What about first aid, police and ambulance?
All these questions and more will be answered with free advice and guidance provided using rubber training weapons and familiarity training with a selection of actual firearms and silencers. For the first 3-10 registered attendees FREE live fire training will be provided, a $150 value! This material will be presented by a 20 year active duty military member who has earned both rifle and pistol expert medals, is a registered NRA firearms Instructor and Range Safety Officer, registered California Department of Justice Firearms Safety Instructor, and Federal Firearms Licensee. (This training is not associated or endorsed by the DoD, CA DOJ, or the NRA)
