1). How old should my child be to attend the Worldview Weekend?

Answer: We leave that up to each parent but would recommend age 12 and up. However, a mature 10 year old could learn much from a Worldview Weekend. Most of our speakers are very aware of young people attending many of the Worldview Weekends and therefore are careful to cover certain topics with great care when needed.

2). When do you send out the tickets I have ordered?

Answer: We send tickets (a wrist-band) to you about 10 days before the conference. We do this so that you will not misplace the wristbands by receiving them weeks in advance.

3). Why do you charge a late fee?

Answer: The goal is to get as many people to register for the Worldview Weekend in advance instead of at the door. When people receive their wristbands in the mail, this enables them to arrive at the conference, show the wristband on their wrist and enter the auditorium without delay or waiting in line. Having hundreds of people attempting to register at the door creates a huge staffing problem and causes the conference to begin late unless we want dozens of people streaming in and looking for a seat while a speaker is speaking. Thus, we try and use the late fee as an encouragement to pre-register and save $10 per ticket.


4). Why do you not offer a family rate?

Answer: At one time we did, but we found that people who were not immediate family members were registering together, not to mention the increased paperwork and accounting this created. In addition, due to the low cost of our conference in relation to the cost of most national conferences, we feel a family rate is not a pressing issue. We do however; offer scholarships to those in need of scholarships.


5). How do I qualify for a scholarship?

Answer: We offer scholarships to those who are truly in need. We often offer scholarships to single mothers and/or fathers and families whose breadwinner has been laid off of their job. We want to make sure we are truly assisting those who are in need and not enabling or rewarding those who have simply been financially irresponsible. As harsh as that may sound, it is very important to us to only offer our limited scholarship dollars to those whom truly deserve a scholarship. To qualify for a scholarship, simply e-mail your request and reason for needing a scholarship to our conference coordinator Brannon Howse at brannon@worldviewweekend.com Please apply for scholarships only for yourself and immediate family members. Please include the number of family members and if they are students or adults. If you know of someone who needs a scholarship, please have him or her apply themselves.


6). Why do you not offer refunds on ticket purchases?

Answer: Just as when you buy a ticket to a play, sporting event or concert, your purchase of a ticket is non-refundable because of the administrative cost in selling tickets. Our conference is one of the lowest priced conferences you will find that has such well-known and seasoned speakers and thinkers. If we are to keep our ticket prices as low as possible, we cannot afford to have our small staff and organization pay for the processing of a ticket order and then turn around and make a refund leaving us with a financial loss. Many people have good intention and plan to attend the conference when they order and purchase their tickets. However, we frequently hear from people who desire a refund because of the desire to be present at something else or because they forgot to check their calendar or check with a friend or spouse before purchasing tickets. We appreciate the desire to be wise with your money, but please understand, we too must be wise in our financial responsibilities and cannot afford to lose money or staff productivity on the clerical and accounting nightmare that refunding tickets creates. 7). Can I exhibit my business, product or ministry at one or all of your conferences?

Answer: Yes.
Exhibit booths are available for purchase at any of our conferences for only $150.00 per conference.
