Friday Night Schedule For Nov 10th

1st Keynote talk: How to Get on Fire for God — Ray Comfort

Do you get a dry mouth and knocking knees at just the thought of sharing your faith? You are not alone. The apostle Paul also had that common disease. But he found a cure that worked for him, and it can work for you. Learn these powerful and life-changing biblical principles that will not only set you on fire for God, but will keep the fire burning.

2nd Keynote talk: Soundly Saved-Kirk Cameron

How effective are our present-day evangelical methods when they create eighty backsliders for every one hundred, “decisions for Jesus?” In our zeal, we try to argue sinners into the kingdom by appealing to their intellect. We attempt to scare them into heaven. We use every method to bring people to Christ except the method God has ordained–the Law! Ray will present the God ordained way to preach the Law effectively–not harshly. Learn how to bring sinners to repentance and see them soundly saved by presenting the truth of the gospel with love and compassion that produces true repentance.

3rd Keynote talk: Militant Evangelism-by Ray Comfort

Here is what one person has said about this presentation by Ray Comfort. "I have listened to 'Militant Evangelism' at least 75-80 times and almost have it memorized verbatim. I never tire of listening to it." -- Jessica K. (KY)

"Militant Evangelism" not only highlights the fact that we are at war, but it reveals that God has given us powerful weapons of warfare that ensure victory for every soldier of Christ. This teaching climaxes with a wonderful and clear revelation of what God did for us at the Cross of Calvary. If you get a grip of this revelation, you will never again be seriously tempted by the pleasures of sin, or the glitter of this sinful world.

4th Keynote Talk: Question of Origins Part I---Dr. Ron Carlson

Dr. Carlson is a best selling author that has been a guest on hundreds of radio programs including Point of View with Marlin Maddox, and Truth that Transform with Dr. D. James Kennedy. Dr. Carlson has spoken in 75 countries on 6 continents and has spoken for 30 major denominations. Where did you come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? These are all very important questions that every major world religion strives to answer. Most every religion that competes with Christianity answers these questions incorrectly. We must begin with a firm foundation for our Christian worldview or we will quickly steer into biblical error. The foundation of a biblical worldview is biblical creation. Using the foundation of biblical Christianity, let’s answer some of those important questions as well as such questions as: Are we an accident evolved from slimy algae, or are we a unique creation of God? How you answer this question will determine your worldview. What is the scientific evidence regarding the question of origins? What about dinosaurs and the fossil record? This presentation is an exciting and powerful affirmation of God's Biblical revelation. Dr. Carlson's laid back style combined with his cutting edge power-point presentation, determination to make this topic interesting and understandable for teens and adults and Dr. Carlson's humor will make him one of your favorite speakers of the weekend.

5th Keynote talk: Making the Most of Your Bible Study-Scott Lindsey

Scott is back this year with new material and amazing new technology! This “Technology & Bible Study” presentation will demonstrate the use of technology for Bible study, sermon preparation, original language analysis and word study, and much more. Type the verse or topic, click go, it’s that easy! Spend more time actually studying the Bible instead of looking for the information to study. Scott will discuss the use of technology to tackle tough apologetic issues like bible difficulties, science and evolution and answers for skeptics. The new Logos can read hundreds of books in seconds and automatically find the exact material you need. Launch yourself into the awesome world of the Greek & Hebrew. Plus, learn how to create a Bible reading plan and prayer journal, conduct your devotions, integrate the Internet with your Bible study, and develop your entire teaching/study and much more. You will be amazed! If you saw this last year you will be amazed at the new technology. If you own the software....you will learn how to more effectively use it.

6th Keynote talk: Brannon Howse - One Nation Under Man: The Worldview War Between Christians and the Secular Left and the Impact of Secular Humanism on our faith, family and freedoms

Brannon Howse will give a powerful worldview presentation based on his book, One Nation Under Man: The Worldview War Between Christians and the Secular Left, which was released in bookstores September 1, 2005. Brannon's presentation reveals the power of your presuppositional worldview. How do Christians who believe God is view the world differently from the Secular Humanist that believes God is not? Brannon's presentation will reveal just how these opposing beliefs view law, science/medicine, family, education, history, civil government and religion/church. America is at a cultural, political, legal and religious fork in the road as revealed through the clear split between the blue and red states. Brannon details the consequences of America going to the left and rejecting the laws of nature and nature's God. Brannon makes the case that modern-day liberalism is based on a Secular Humanist worldview and true conservatism is based on the Christian worldview. The winner of this worldview war will determine the fate of America's faith, family, freedoms and future.

Going to College Without Going Astray–Kerby Anderson

Numerous studies reveal that 70% to 88% of students from Christian homes deny their faith before they graduate from college. A recent national study reveals that the overwhelming majority of professors at our nation’s colleges are liberal. Members of America’s Humanist Association openly wrote about the need to use the position of “professor” to challenge the biblical worldview of America’s young people that had been instilled into them by their parents and church. Kerby will teach you powerful arguments in defense of absolute truth. Learn how to contend for your faith without embarrassment and with the certainty it is truth.

Students will be dismissed from the main auditorium before the 7th Keynote address to attend this student track session that will be held down the hall from the main auditorium.

The Uniqueness of Jesus Christ in a World of Religions-Dr. Ron Carlson

Does it matter what we believe about God? Are all religions basically the same? How does a person's religious belief affect how they live? What makes Christianity so unique in a world of religious tolerance and pluralism? How should Christians respond to the fast growing cults of Hinduism, Islam and Mormonism and how do we lead family, friends or neighbors out of these cults and to salvation through Jesus Christ? Students will be dismissed from the gym/event center before the 6th Keynote address to attend this student track session that will be held down the hall.
